On MyCamy you can start a camera-to-camera conversation without creating an account and without giving us a name, an email address or a phone number.
Press the button, allow camera access, and you are matched with a random person who is online at that moment.
We are not a social network.
There is no profile to complete, no follower count, no feed to scroll.
That is the point: the fastest possible route to an actual conversation.
What you need before you press the button
- A modern browser: Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox, on desktop or mobile.
- A webcam and microphone. A laptop camera is fine.
- Permission to use them. Your browser will ask, and you can change your mind afterwards.
- HTTPS. This matters more than it sounds: browsers only allow camera access on secure pages. If the page loads over plain `http://`, the camera will not work and no amount of troubleshooting will fix it. That is a browser rule, not something we can override.
Why it is free, and what that means for you
There is no charge to start a video chat.
We do not sell your data and we do not show advertising inside the chat itself.
Some photographs in the Discover gallery are marked with a diamond price.
Diamonds are earned by completing small daily tasks inside the site, and unlocking a photograph is entirely optional.
It never affects whether you can start a video chat.
Staying comfortable and safe
Anonymous video is light, fun and mostly harmless. A few habits make it better:
- You decide every time. Ending a conversation takes one click and needs no reason.
- Do not share anything you would not show a stranger. Full name, address, workplace, bank details.
- Do not take screenshots or recordings without asking. In many places that is illegal even if the other person agreed to talk.
- Anyone who is a minor, or who seems to be a minor, must end the conversation immediately. This site is for adults only.
- Report it. If someone is explicit, threatening or under 18, end the chat and tell us. We act on reports.

Can the other person see my face?
Yes, that is the point of a camera chat. You can always turn your camera off mid-conversation.
Can they hear me?
Only if your microphone is on and you have allowed access. You control that from your browser.
Is my conversation recorded?
No. Video and audio are not recorded or stored.
What if I want to talk to a woman / a man?
Switch the filter in the chat page. There is a preference setting for it.
How old do I have to be?
18 or older.
I get an error when I allow the camera. What now?
Check that you are on HTTPS, that no other app is using the camera, and that your browser is up to date. Private browsing can also block camera access in some browsers.
