Copyright Notice

Last updated:

This Copyright Notice explains who owns the content on the MyCamy Service (the "Service", operated by MyCamy, the "Operator"), what you may and may not do with it, and how to report an infringement. It should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Operator and contact details
This Service is operated by MyCamy.
For copyright, trademark, privacy or abuse enquiries, contact us at legal@mycamy.com and we will respond within the periods stated below.

01  Ownership of website content

Unless otherwise stated, all content on the Service is protected by copyright law and the rights in it belong to the Operator or its licensors, including:

02  Trademarks and branding

The MyCamy name, word marks, logos and any other marks identifying the Service (together, the "Marks") are trademarks of the Operator. Without our prior written permission you must not:

Use that is fair use under applicable law, such as genuine news reporting or commentary, is not infringement.

03  Licence granted to you

We grant you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, limited, revocable and terminable licence to access the Service and use its content on your own personal device. The licence does not include:

04  User content

Ownership

You keep all rights in content you upload or post. We do not take ownership of it by receiving it.

Licence

To operate the Service and to prevent unlawful content from spreading, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable, worldwide licence to store, copy, transmit, publicly display and distribute that content. You may revoke this licence by deleting the content; revocation does not affect uses that already occurred.

Your warranties

You warrant that you have the right to post the content and that it does not infringe the copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy or other rights of any third party, and that it contains nothing unlawful. You are responsible for any claim arising from content you post.

05  Photographs and personality rights

This clause directly constrains how you use the Service — please read it carefully
Every photograph and video used on the Service must satisfy one of the following:

the person shown is you; or you hold their clear, lawful and valid written authorisation.

Using another person's likeness without authorisation, including using an AI-generated or synthetic likeness to impersonate a real individual, may infringe their rights to their image, name and even their personality. It can expose you to civil liability, administrative penalties and, in some jurisdictions, criminal prosecution. It also obliges us to remove the material and to terminate your account immediately.

Please note specifically: using generative or synthetic images to represent real people does not remove this risk. Where an image is identifiable as a particular real person, or is highly similar to a living individual, it may still infringe their rights or give rise to false-endorsement disputes.

Photographs shown in the photo gallery may be sample or stock material. Such material belongs to the respective rights holders, is licensed for display within this Service only, and must not be used for any other purpose.

06  Third-party material

The Service may contain material in which third parties own intellectual property rights, including third-party names, links and assets. The rights in such material belong to the respective rights holders and it is used only within the scope of the licence granted.

If you believe third-party material on the Service infringes your rights, contact us using the process in section 8.

07  Prohibited uses

Unless authorised in writing, you must not:

08  Infringement complaints

If your rights are infringed by material on the Service, send us a written notice that includes:

  1. your name and contact details;
  2. the precise URL or other information that locates the material;
  3. initial evidence of the infringement;
  4. a statement that you are the rights holder or are authorised to act for them, and that the notice is accurate; and
  5. your electronic signature.

Send the notice to legal@mycamy.com. We will review the notice and, where it is valid, remove or disable the material and notify the person who posted it.

A false or malicious complaint may expose the complainant to legal liability. We reserve the right to disclose necessary information to the party complained of where required to resolve the complaint.
